Hi All, I have good experience with working on SQL server as a developer and as a SQL DBA and last 3 years of experience with a non MSFT BI tool(reporting and visualizations)as well. I am trying to get into a Microsoft azure position. I am learning for the AZ-900 fundamentals and then plan to do a role based certification. I have previously applied for MSFT SQL based roles(like SQL Support engineer ) but never got any response. Does having certifications along with the above mentioned experience attract a recruiter or do I have to do more to land an interview with MSFT for azure roles.? Please respond with your honest thoughts and advices. #tech #Microsoft #MSFT #microsoftcareers #microsofthiring
1. You need a nice resume 2. Referral helps sometimes 3. As per what I saw, behavioral skills along with technical skills are very important to crack the interview.
