In 2020, I interviewed at Nvidia got the offer and rejected due to Microsoft counter offer. During the interview, I found everyone on the panel to be polite, knowledgeable and engaging. In 2023, I recently interviewed for multiple roles at Nvidia. Got rejected in all. What I found this time is that everyone who interviewed me had so much attitude. Couple of them were rude, uninterested, talking about their stock value.. Has anyone else faced this issue? TC 360k 16yr
Moral of the story? Ex should be forgotten
But I like your Ex🤣
think from brain and not the tiny leg😂
I interviewed there recently and got rejected immediately but the interviewer was so nice and supportive that I left with an A+ impression.
Sorry for rejecting you 😔
Same feeling.
Who the F talks about the stock value in an interview panel? I don’t even know how that comes up.
Ex, What do you like abt nvda?
Immature companies who hang carrots
Interviews are team dependant, could have been a bad team. It also could be that if you weren't rejected, you would be saying a different story. Hard to tell.
What's also hard to tell is when people do get accepted they dont want to complain in fear of retaliation. Basically - "don't shit where you eat" - kind of situation.
Does nvidia have grace period?
Hey I interviewed with Microsoft and Nvidia in 2020 and got rejected by Nvidia and accepted by Microsoft. In 2023 I interviewed with Nvidia again and I actually found the new teams to be nicer and the questions to be more sensible. I got an offer from Nvidia, I’m leaving Microsoft.
Welcome!
Congratulations on not being stagnant at Microsoft
Yes. I interviewed and found my interviewer to be tad arrogant and obnoxious. Never interviewed with them till 2023.
How in the world does stock discussion come up in an interview?
Benefits / culture convo, people love to brag
I had a phone interview last week. Very nice guy. Thought he would have been kind enough to not reject me, but I guess not that nice 😅
Oh no
