I've done an onsite interview with Nvidia in the beginning of August 2022. It's been more than a week and I receive no feedback. Sent an email to the recruiter yesterday morning and receive no reply. Is it normal for Nvidia to have slow response?
They are probably talking to HM. We have a lot going on right now, so probably a bit slow.
What's going on? reorg?
Lot of releases lining up over the next 2 months, in every part of the business.
Any reason moving from meta to NVIDIA ?
Meta is like a dead end when it comes product development.
But there are lots AR VR infrastructure n all being developed right ?
Tell them you are in touch with other companies, and would appreciate quick response, otherwise you may have to leave Nvidia opportunity behind.
Can anyone help with Nvdia referral?

I had horrible experience with Nvidia. I spoke 6 or 7 people and everytime it was me who was following up to schedule interviews. And since they were all remote, and since I spoke to 7 people, I thought I was done with virtual onsite and they said, they haven’t even started yet. WTF.. it took more than a month. All 7 interviews on different days, and that includes one recruiter call. Clearly the system is broken.
I had 36 rounds before I got hired, including a tough mudder course.
Nvidia were very slow in my case. Keep pursuing but do not put other opportunities on hold for them
I had my panel interview with nvidia last Thursday, looking by this i may have to wait for a week. They were quick for all other rounds for me. I am getting an offer from intel and not sure how long i can hold that
Oh. No. Ryzen is leaving amd.
yeah amd is not the die to be in 😅
Nvidia extend me offer 2 days after interview. Starting talking about numbers. But that’s 2022 February
Similar case … a week … in Dec 2021
same for me as well. Heard back 3 days later and got offer about another 3 days so a week total from interview to offer. This was back in feb 2022 as well.
if they take it more than 2 days after panel interview does that mean no offer? i answered 4/5 interviews good and one interview i kind of tried but missed it.
Since teams likely have only one position, they likely want to finish the interview slate before deciding.
Did you do well at the interview? Top candidates usually hear back pretty quick
I think I did it pretty well. Be able to answer all the tech questions and I can see the intrrviewer is very happy with my answer.
