Nvidia vs Apple - SWE Intern

nvidia - security team; apple - marcom team both in the bay area, both pay roughly the same international student, ms in cs at t10 school what should i choose? any advise? tc: 0

How about the role? In general, Marcom is not great engineering org at Apple. I am ex apple and I have not worked in Marcom but it never had great impressions

Apple. Nvda at ATH and hiring like crazy. Once AI hype dies down there will be mass layoffs in Nvda for sure

- Nvidia is not hiring like crazy (and never does). It is hiring but nothing crazy. - Mass layofffs haven’t happened at nvidia in years for the above reason. - AI hype is not dying any time soon.

I agree with NVIDIA said here. Google, why suggest something to OP who is just starting their career on things you don’t know. At max you can claim about ai hype dying and all which I don’t agree with, but mass layoff and all, come on!

i’ve heard apple is quite safe for intl, rarely do layoffs, more H1B holders

Yes both companies. I personally know someone for whom Apple went above and beyond when their visa status was impacted
