Nvidia vs Cadence
Hi, I got an offer in Nvidia Bangalore and I am currently working in Cadence Noida. The profile for which they have given offer is Verification engineer but internally the work will be solely on Software Engineering side. I wanted to know how is the culture and work Life balance of Nvidia and how easy/difficult is it to switch to another team if you don't like the work in one team. PS: compensation in Nvidia is slightly better than current compensation in Cadence but my main priority is not just compensation I wanted to have an understanding of the culture nd work life balance in Nvidia as that is my main priority. YOE: 1.5 years Nvidia: Base : 17.5LPA CTC (including pf and gratuity) : 18.9LPA Stocks: 24 lakhs (vested over 4 years) Cadence: Base: 11.29 LPA CTC: 14.89LPA Stocks: none( ESPP based only) ...............
Ask them for 30L in stocks Also its good to have a competing offer

Software Engineer 1 right now
I would suggest you to try for Infineon Technologies if wlb is the top priority.( May few exceptions.. but overall teams have great wlb balance). One issue is there are no stocks. Dm for more details.
Offer seems compelling provided you don't have a counter offer
I don't as of now, will try if I get any but seems like a decent offer package wise I was mainly concerned towards the work culture and the environment .
