Deutsche Bank - Strat Director Compensation
Hi, Would anyone know what a Director level Strat gets paid by Deutsche Bank in NY ?
I would guess 225k total...
No way. This time should be 250k above
About 250k in base sounds about right. Any idea on bonus ? Thanks.
Follow-up question : Closer to getting an offer. HR mentioned that total compensation will be Base + Target / Potential Bonus. Does anybody have insight : What's the average percentage of Target Bonus, that people have been paid in last few years : 80% 90% ? I understand a lot will depend on my performance but wanted to get an idea of the variation between HR's promise and the actual number they got. Thanks
No idea what director level is at DB but VP level FO QR at JPM (PhD/masters + ~3 YoE) gets anywhere from 220-270+ TC. My target bonus as a jr level VP is about 60% of my base. One thing to keep in mind, and im sure citi does it similarly, is that high bonus amounts often end up getting partially paid out in stock rather than cash.
Don't worry OP, from my experience if you are performing really well, you will always get your bonus in full. Even when DB made losses, people still got 100% bonus. I mean high performers always get their bonuses intact at Director level.
DB doesn't give out stocks, so you will get all your bonus in cash

Strat : Front office role.
250k-400k depending upon how much business you bring for the bank!
