Offer @ Deloitte Review
Got a verbal offer for consultant base $95k with 13% bonus every year. What’s it like working for Deloitte and being a consultant? Is it worth it? I’m finishing my masters and have 3 YOE. I asked recruiter for $105k and maybe a sign on bonus. Waiting to hear back. Is negotiation effective at Deloitte?
I have no experience with Deloitte other than my buddies who have worked there. The one whose salary I know of is in line with what you posted. But what's your ultimate career goal? Are you in the DC region?
Not effective if its gps department. 95k is normal for consultant in hcol. Dont expect more than 5% on annual bonus. They onyl give the best >10%. Deloitte may be a decent olace tobstart to buikd experience but you want to eventually look to exit to a real company soon. Climbing their ladder is grueling and generally not worth ifbur trying tobmake money. But if not, deloitte can be a fun place to have a stable career depending on thw practice

For GPS and 3 yoe in DC this is pretty normal. If you’re cleared you definitely have more wiggle room to negotiate depending on where they’re looking to place you.
