Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
Got an offer for a non-tech M2 role at Facebook Base:211k Bonus : 25% Stocks: 230k No sign on bonus Any thoughts on the offer ? It is in Bay Area
New to Bay Area so not sure and not aware of Facebook ranges
4/5
You are leaving a sign on bonus on the table. If you were to suddenly have an offer with Google/amazon/msft/apple you’d find yourself with a sizable sign-on. Note that if asked for the detailed you can just say “id rather not disclose, however i would be willing to sign the offer today if you were to come back with a sign on”. If you want to provide even more date then you can say level of competing offer. For reference: Amazon=L7; msft=L67, Apple=ICT5; Google L7. Good luck!
Only you can tell us. Is it good? What's the role? Lawyer? Head chef? Marketing? Policy? Etc
That’s about 510k TC - it’s an awesome offer I think
How is that 510k? Surely you don't consider the full stock value as part of your yearly total comp. That should be 1/4 per year.
My bad - I thought it 250K per year FB pays well doesn’t it ?
The role is HRBP Manager
Did you take it? What was your final numbers
Tell us. Did you take offer or able to get more in equity and sign on ?
What are your thoughts
I'm feeling happy today
