Asml has one thing that everyone wants. Apple has one thing that EVERYONE wants.
I would think you're intel outside the bay area. If you have a family and spouse is not working, you won't survive on $145K on the long run, you will have to jump to another higher-paying job.
I think stay at current position in Hillsboro/Arizona is the move unless he can negotiate at least another 10% from either offer(especially ASML). 170k isn't worth bad wlb, 145k isn't really enough to live in Bay area and have savings unless you have roommates
can you tell the split?
Can you share how was the interview process for both roles? Thanks!
DM if you have any questions!
