Hello, Recently got the below offer for Hardware Engineer 3 position in Power Design team. Base - 160k Annual Bonus - 11% Sign on bonus - 10k each for first 2 years YOE - 3yrs Location - Sunnyvale, CA Benefits - adds 30% contribution to your contribution to 401k. ESPP contribution is max 10% of annual salary with a 15% discount on stocks. Current TC ~ 150k ( 122k base, 10% bonus, 8k stocks per year) benefits - 8% of annual salary if you contribute 4% of annual salary to 401k, ESPP max contribution of 10k per year with same 15% discount on company stock. Is Juniper a good company for learning? Thought to pursue the position to gain OEM experience. Was expecting higher TC. Is this good for my YOE? The benefits seem to be sub par as well since the 401k contribution is capped at 30% of 20.5k/23.5k which is only around 6.5k plus would take away cash in hand to get the max benefit. Thanks #hardware
I guess the base is reasonable for that yoe w.r.t what Juniper pays. No RSUs?
No they said HW 3 doesnt have RSUs. They start from HW 4 and that too only 30k over 3 years
