Offer Help? Stay @Meta vs ClickUp vs Doordash
Hey all, senior engineer with 5ish yrs exp at Meta making 260kTC (190k with about 70k/yr equity). I don’t make that much money, I know. I also just rent and am not married, trying to position myself for a better nest egg in the future though. I have two offers I’m considering: ClickUp: staff title, 240k/yr, 1.2M grant. Like all hopeful companies they expect to IPO in 2 years, and my stock might be 3-6M (or nothing at all) DoorDash: senior, TC: 370 (210k/yr, 650k grant) - I keep hearing not to join a pre-IPO company for the potential payoff. ClickUp does have 100M ARR and it seems like they’re a solid tool - I hear DoorDash and other gig economy companies are really struggling to make a profit behind the scenes. The liquid stock is enticing though and I believe the stock price will rebound, but what do I know - I can also just stay at Meta and wait out another offer Thanks for your opinions!
What product is clickup? Never heard of it

Dash no sign on bonus? I am wondering if you joined meta last year at its peak.. Go with DD no brainer
ClickUp Sucks - space is so competitive and not worth 4b if Asana is worth 4b on public markets with 5x revenue of ClickUp
With 100m ARR they should have over 100% growth rate if planing to go IPO in next 2 years.
I worked at competitor of ClickUp this space sucks Not valued amongst the enterprise and they get 🥜 contracts would highly recommend avoiding

If TC at Meta and ClickUp are roughly the same, why not go to ClickUp and try to hit it big? Worst case scenario is you get paid about the same; best case is you walk away with a few million. Plus, 1-2 years isn’t that long in the grand scheme of things.
I'd choose dd Your TC at meta is low and dd also has fast promotions. Your chance to become e6 is much higher at dd. Good scope of work, good tc, fast promos
Make it a poll. 260 to 370 is quite a nice jump in TC. I wouldn't miss it.
Stay at meta for now it's not worth moving to DD
