I have 15+ years of experience and have received an offer from IBM iX for Associate Partner role Base £160k + benifits £30k signing on bonus. Can someone suggest what should I be expecting? Thanks

Is it because of the working culture or the Salary?
You’re going to regret leaving Adobe... IBM work culture is suffering badly right now.. things may change in 3 yrs
Yes I’d wait a few years. Morale is at an all time low and GBS is one of the worst organizations to join right now. All the products that are being sunset or they can’t sell are being sent there: Blockchain Platform, Health Pass, etc. meanwhile all the talent is leaving although they are buying up new companies for fresh meat to rinse and repeat. Adobe from what my friends tell me is worlds better: culture, benefits, and equity driven programs.
Thank you all for your great feedback.
Yeah don’t leave Adobe for IBM!!
Hopefully you didn't leave Adobe. IBM is ideal for people with families. Nobody cares they just chill and are comfortable. Frowned upon if you work more hours than others.
This is true if your in a “safe” group. There are no incentives to grow or do more for others or IBM beyond taking care of yourself. Exceptions are made by college grads who need the experience so they’ll learn and work weekends to get a better job elsewhere. Honestly WLB is 30-35 hours a week. CIO is great because Friday’s you have 4 hours to pursue side interest and learning.
Yes but that's good for people that aren't too fussed and don't want to stress or worry. I can't exactly explain what I do because it will give it away. But ,I know nobody else has done this as much as me it's the whole culture of IBM to work until you get paid don't go over.ibm does pay their VPs well,

White male privilege is real
IBM is really hierarchical. But that’s not a bad thing when you join high up like you are. Their services org which iX is part of is very, very utilization oriented. Ie success is defined entirely based on how many projects you sell & how many hours your reports claim. Quality does not matter.
