So I have a offer at Northrop Grumman and I’m trying to do some research here on blind to see what’s the WLB and the tips and tricks with working with a defense agency. Any fellow Northrop Grumman that I can speak to or can provide some input with the company? TC:105 Current TC:64
Don’t. Plenty of companies out there with no blood on their hands
Not many options if you’re an aerospace engineer.
you literally make cheating software
OP, are you a software engineer?
Negative my friend
What's your role?
Which location?
Check DM.
It’s a big diverse company with work and subcultures that span the gamut. With a bit of luck, if you are good, you get in on the most interesting programs, new technology, and missions and it’s awesome. Pay is good if you can quickly get to T5. But there is no hand holding here.
Would love a breakdown of equivalent job titles to the T structure
Not sure about NG personally but my buddy is in IT at Raytheon. He works 5-10 hours a week and chills the rest of the week. He said most teams are pretty chill overall. Defense is a very laid back SWE environment from what I've heard
Is your friend a software engineer?
Nope but he said they are chill gigs as well fwiw
