This is mostly to serve as some data points for the community, but I’d also appreciate opinions. Argo AI SDE II: Base: 170k Target bonus: 15% RSU: 400k/4 years Recruiter mentioned that there is room to increase numbers and add a sign on bonus. Probably contingent on competing offers. Did not mention refreshers as part of the package but we haven’t discussed the topic yet. Instacart L4: Base: 156k RSU: 504k/4 years Sign On: 15K Refreshers: ~25% of initial stock grant awarded yearly on a 4 year vesting schedule Refreshers aren’t guaranteed or concrete, but this is what was conveyed as typical. Twitter SDE II: Base: 160K Target bonus: 15% RSU: 275K/4 years Sign On: 15K Refreshers also mentioned here but I don’t know details. Indeed L2: Base: 145K Target bonus: 10% RSU: 124K/4 years Sign On: 34K Refreshers: 50% of initial stock grant awarded yearly on 4 year vesting schedule I’m also awaiting an offer from Two Sigma as I’ve already gone through team match. No offer except indeed has been negotiated higher than the initial numbers. You can bump Argo AI. My sde 2 offer with them was 200k salary, 40k sign on, 550k stock. Didn’t accept it tho

Yep you have some room to negotiate your TC (salary/sign on/equity) here for SDE2.. dependent a bit on team since you’re remote for how much budget they have

For technical, be sure to talk aloud your thought process and ask questions if you need to. I found that having a healthy back and forth often leads to good results. For behavioral, I’m not too sure what to suggest but just try to see how you would fit in on their teams. Know what you want out of your role and (mostly) be honest
Instacart, you have the opportunity to join at lower valuation
Location? High cost of living? Medium? Low?
I can’t comprehend how someone with 2.5 YOE is getting offered more than me at Twitter. I was also told Twitter doesn’t do signing bonuses which obviously was a lie
I’m in Texas, so medium COL. Comps overall have gone way up in the past 6 months or so. Maybe it’s time to look around and/or boomerang?
None of those are good long term bets, keep interviewing

Did you try and negotiate with Twitter? I’ve seen much higher SWE II offers than this.
If you’re thinking about twitter, don’t join if you can only work remotely. Elon doesn’t like remote work
