Hello, Current TC : 162k/ yoe-11 Cadence : Base 165 / principle Yearly bonus : not sure … 12-15% RSU : 40k Joining bonus : 25k Location : Bay Area Synopsys : Base 162 / staff Yearly bonus : 14% RSU : 45k Joining bonus : 30k Location : Bay Area Both are saying we will match competition. Is this a good salary for Bay Area ? This is first offer they made. How much I can stretch max.? Both work is same. yes refreshers and rsus at synopsys is very hard or almost 0. In cadence if medium to high performer u can get rsu refeshers.. that way cadence is better

Is cadence AE or PE position? AE principal gets 20% bonus- more than synopsys. AE sr principal (which is staff elsewhere) gets 25% bonus. PE only gets 10-15% bonus max i think
