Posting on my Husband’s behalf, he was laid from EY on March, and accepted an offer from Pwc 2 days before he was laid off. They took their sweet time to file his H1b transfer which was last Friday. Today the recruiter calls to say the offer has been rescinded. His visa expires tomorrow. What are his options? I don’t have an i140 yet, waiting for it. We will talk to an immigration lawyer tomorrow to see what needs to be done. Maybe apply for his H4 visa. Any referrals are appreciated. He was a senior consultant at EY in the insurance field. He is looking for Business Analyst/Product Manager. His YOE: 9 years #layoff #visa
Rescinded why? These companies should be named and shamed on LinkedIn. Lot better than the cringe posts that fill up the feed.

I did. My point is to post on LinkedIn
Know that if the company were to ever lose or not have documentation you can sue for discrimination and make bank. My friend did this( he was just angry. Wasn't expecting much) and got around a million (atleast that's what he says)when they couldn't get the documentation during discovery
Can you explain which documentation?
You can file H4 tomorrow as long as USCiS receive the petition on last day of validity he should be fine
Yes, his visa expires tomorrow, we got to know today at 3pm, so will meet an immigration attorney and file for h4 asap.
I'll marry him for 200k. Negotiable. I'm a citizen.
Haha thanks but job referrals are appreciated more!
My team is hiring. DM me his resume.
They took errrr jobs!
If H4 is not filed before visa expiration, it’s better to go back and come back on H4 and wait till 140 & EAD. Pwc sucks with its hire and fire policy. You dodged a bullet
The f-ed up thing is they waited till the last date to notify him. If they gave us a heads up few days ago. It would have been fine
Leave the country asap
