Okta Toronto - new grad salary?
Checked levels and seems like ~115k USD TC, but heard from other sources that ng offers have gone up to ~150k USD. Anyone know the band for new grads or less than 1 yoe?
Ok so the scoop! Auth0 was acquired by Okta recently (I think 2021). Auth0 has been hiring “internationally” for many years. Auth0 has different pay scales for Canadians than Americans and 100% a new grad salary in Toronto isn’t 150USD. If it is a new grad position for within Okta I don’t know. I would assume that Okta would adopt Auth0s successful hiring practices.
Are you talking base or TC, that is very different. I have heard of new grads getting about 115k CND as base salary. They just announced that they are cutting new hire RSUs to be inline with market but they will vest in 3 years instead 4. They are also opening new offices in Poland and India for SWE work.
RSU are going to quarterly vesting which is a huge win.
They always were after the 1 year cliff. That is not changing and the cliff only applied to your new hire RSU not ones awarded after that.
