I just completed capital one codesignal test. I had 100% correct solution for 1,2 and 4th question and 3rd one was really hard but managed to write complete code but could not execute due to time constraints. I did not submit each question individually when I completed thinking I will review at the end to optimize ( though I had run to pass test cases so I knew my solution was 100% correct). Since I ran out of time at the end of finishing code for 3rd question(which I did at the end) . I submitted and it showed time exceeded then I again tried submitted and said the same then I just closed the session thinking it will submit automatically. But then when I check my score under pending results: I see it's only 434. Does that mean it did not submit my first 2 question's solution? Hey there, can you tell me what sort of questions you got? Going to take that exam soon :/
Though I did not hear any response, I am responding so others can benefit in future. It looks like it submitted all and I got 2 questions 100% correct, 4th one passed 50% + tests but got 0 for 3rd question. Looks like they evaluate based on how first you give solution and how many tests were passed which is not fair. This means if someone could just write some if statements and return expected output they may get some points. Anyway I passed it and going for power day virtual interview next week.
