One Medical SWE Offer, company outlook? Benefits?
Received a verbal offer for the base salary range. I am not sure about the stock and bonus yet. The position is going to be Associate/Mid-level. Does this seem like the typical range for this level? What does TC typically look like for this level? Base Salary Range: $135k - 150k YOE: ~1.5 Location: Remote (NYC) Also how is One Medical's company culture? Great place if you care about health care and work life balance. Not so great for your career or compensation. OM should be your fall back option if every other company rejects you. I feel like joining OM was a huge mistake so consider yourself warned. And what is the stock package like?
The stock has fallen 80% in the past year. 40% below it’s IPO price. C-suite keep selling every chance they get which doesn’t help. Stock package is truly negligible & small. Hardly matters.

Not a bad place at all. I joined this past January. So far it’s been good. If you like Ruby and React you will fit right in. The culture very heavy “left leaning pop culture” meaning what ever the social trend is in the news it will trickle down to how the company deals with issues. Pay is competitive especially giving your years of experience. The company is consistently opening new offices across US and trying to update its core software to best meet needs of providers.
I am also interviewing with them and am curious about their tech and culture!
