I’ve seen plenty of online BS talk. Has anyone earned their MS online? Any reputable programs?
OMSCS: the material is good. The bar should be higher, some classes are easy, I see plenty of clueless people passing or even get A.
Which programs were you considering?
Did about half of Georgia Tech’s OMSCS program. Your degree has no distinction that it is “online” and GT has a good reputation. Once I got into Amazon I gave that up because there is no time. Class quality is extremely mixed. You’ll get what you put into it.
Lol same, said f it, probably will get more return in investment grinning leetcode
I did the OMSCS (GT) program^. In my case I loved it and found it to be very useful, feel free to DM with questions. Stanford has a similar concept but iirc it was 4-5x as expensive and didn’t allow for a specialization. I wanted to dive right into ML classes without taking OS, networks and other bs I did as an undergrad
Uiuc also has an online program but more expensive - like 20k
University of Florida has a good online masters program for CS
south harmon institute of technology
Try AIT - Ameerpet institute of technology
