Hey folks. I have an upcoming onsite with Netflix for an ML position. I'd appreciate any insights you can provide about what to expect. They don't seem be be asking leetcode-style questions. I've been told that the coding will be related to the day to day job and geared towards ML. Wondering if this means coding ML techniques from scratch, or using sklearn lib to train and test a model, or will it involve developing NNs in pytorch/tensorflow? Please share your experience if you've interviewed with them before. Thanks! #tech #netflix #onsite #coding
Is it about phone interview or take-home ? Do you have phD or external papers ?
onsite. it's not take-home. i have phd.
No ML coding. Just usual
What was the initial phone screen like? What to expect?
Deal op, how did the the onside ML interview and coding go?
@op: could you please share your experience of the interview?
Hey, Was is for an applied scientist role at Algorithms Engineering team?
Yup. same team; but for a research eng position. i think those ML positions (research eng and applied scientist) are the same though at Netflix.
Cool. I have DM for details. Btw how was the phone screening? I might apply to Netflix and try to see what is needed to be prepared
