The recent dismissal and loss of OpenAI’s co-founder and CEO by its board is being held as one of the biggest blunders in corporate governance in the past 25 years. Several other OpenAI employees have signed a petition to leave and Microsoft has hired the former CEO and others for a new division. That being said, what if any action will happen to the board and its members based on the storm that they stirred?
Don’t you dare bad mouth robin’s wife!
Ironically the board was just doing its job. They are legally bound to follow the non profit mission which is about safe development of AI. If they don’t then they can be personally sued.
But the new CEO said the reason is not about safety?
If we believe speculation in news reports, the board didn’t trust Altman to develop AI safely. The new ceo doesn’t have any info. Nobody really knows
