Could someone at Google weigh in on the legitimacy of this internal post? #openai #google #meta #databricks
what do you mean by legitimacy in this context? It is a real post and most of the comments were about op not actually being an openai employee and op defending that he/she is
So, a troll post?
Blind will hit that OP with reverification for saying they’re not at tagged employer anymore
It's a legitimate post in that it's not photoshopped but how is anyone at Google going to know how things are going at OpenAI
Agreed. I'm curious if the comment section reached a consensus on whether OP was trolling or not.
Dunno OP but AI is driving investment in companies and there is a massive FOMO
Sam already said it's not a Search Engine, so this guy knows nothing and he's not from Open AI.
Sam said that’s not what they are announcing on Monday. Not that they are not working on one…
Loved Sam's $7 trillion ask for AI chips can tell Sam read about Anchoring bias somewhere Open AI is a joke
CTO seems shady too, just saying
translation: too young and beautiful to be a cto at openai?
ex open (closed) ai. I concur
Andrej Karpathy?
I am not at Google, but would like to weight in that whoever wrote this post definitely isn’t at OpenAI
If they can’t turn that thing into at least $100B, they’ve fucked up the company, and tech is seriously, totally, fucked. We bought a coupon extension for $4B
To be fair, no one is really doing AGI either, not even google. Unless you are in research, everyone is just applying or improving existing transformers in some product areas. Everywhere is the same no grass is greener when you are already in one of the most advanced places.
Shhh not so loud, the VCs will hear you. But yeah the whole thing is giving more and more dot com vibes, except TCP/IP is replaced with AGI/AI.
This is a post about open ai
Yeah but it was posted on google internal blind
