I have technical phone interview coming up at opentable and Airbnb very soon. Can anyone share their recent experience interviewing with them. I have done just over 100 leetcode problems. Will it be enough to crack the phone interview.
^This. https://github.com/allaboutjst/airbnb/blob/master/README.md
In Leetcode there are like 80+ problems tagged with Airbnb. Different ones. Not sure if 10 problems is correct. Also, if it was just 10 then everybody would be in airbnb.
Good luck!
Be comfortable talking out your thought process and debug process. Ask clarifying questions. Be aware of time.
I interviewed at both. The phone screen is fairly standard, you get a coding question, you solve it by 1) understanding the problem by asking clarifying questions, 2) communicating your solution, 3) implementing it and 4) testing it. No surprises. For the onsite, opendoor is standard coding + design (based on level you go for), airbnb is coding + design + softskill (called core value interview). You can find plenty of examples of both online, I just used glassdoor and leetcode. I don’t know about opendoor, but airbnb does have an internal list of questions that correlates to that github link posted above. The thing is that knowing the question and being able to implement it is only half of it, you have to make sure you can understand it well and modify it as interviewers change some assumptions or requirement as a follow-up questions. If you’re doing L4+ make sure to do some design questions as well, not just leetcode.
Wish I had seen that github before. Had Airbnb online coding challenge and got one of those. Ended up wasting a bit extra time and wasn't able to fix it before time ended. Funny because was feeling very confident after doing all the practice challenges they sent.
Stop this sick shit on irrelevant posts. Help the OP get the offers first and then use "TC OR GTFO".
You must be new here. TC or GTFO is mandatory . If you need help then go somewhere else. It's always give and take here
