I have an upcoming interview for an ASIC design position at Juniper, Sunnyvale. Based on what I have gathered from few threads on Blind, I am not sure if it’s a good time to join Juniper. I believe the company is coming out of layoffs ? (ASIC was impacted too?) Can any current / ex-juniper folks provide some insights, specifically on the ASIC teams? (WLB, quality of work, stability etc.) YoE: ~6 Thanks !
Don't go to Juniper now. All the good ASIC folks already left that place. Most of them were handpicked for Fungible.
Thank you.. My interview experience was pretty awful as well.. will stay away !
So is fungible doing well them? I went on site but did not continue the process.
Stay away from Juniper at all costs. It is a dying company.

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
Nope nope nope. Do not join and do not waste your time. There has been a huge attrition in the last 1.5-2 years where almost 50% of the ASIC guys have left. This happened primarily due to Fungible but others left in a hurry as well. The roadmap is not pro-asic anymore. Also ASIC Westford was let go 2 months back. Makes no sense to leave Xilinx for Juniper.
Wow ! didn’t know it was this messy.. thanks for the inputs !
What is ASIC Westford ?
