Friends is about company provide opportunity for people with disabilities like low vision? My bro is an software engineer and does coding today. However it is getting hard for him day by day. Looking for some opportunities in india preferably
Saw a Microsoft video about accessibility coding tools that enabled a blind developer to code. If I find the link I will post it.
How does that help them code?
What is your friends vision levels? Does he/she have 20/20 in one eye? Or has bad on both eyes?
I am blind in one eye and about 20-60 corrected in the other. I moved outside the US for work as I had no opportunities, work and socially, because the US is basically designed around having a car in every way. Few ethnic or religious minorities see their needs ignored like those ho can't drive do.
Does 20-60 corrected mean you still have struggle seeing after correction? Have u tried living in a big city? Big cities have good transportation network. For context - I don't have one eye since childhood and I am not any different from others. You could call me a religious minority. I have a driver's license. Aside from asking me to do behind wheels test every time I renew my license, I have never had issues with car.
20/60 is the best my vision can get to with glasses or contacts. I have the beginnings of cataracts too, and I'm only just past 40. I moved to an urbanized country, in the capital city, and very few people I know have cars. It's liberating to finally not be "handicapped" in this way, and having to speak a foreign language all the time is nothing compared to living in the suburban US without the privilege of driving.
It is for my brother who is a dotnet and react developer. He is based in Hyderabad, india. However in his current job because of timelines and his situation he is not able to manage. So thinking how he can survive once he is out of this job. Does Google
