Oracle gets a lot of criticism on blind and I find a lot of it is deserved because of the high costs involved and lock-in practices. I also see why startups would never start with Oracle especially when their database might only be a few GB in the beginning. However, in my limited time (~5 years) and experience with MySQL, Postgres, and Oracle I have been nothing but impressed with their database. Let’s take for example flashback, such a useful tool that has saved me a few times. I’m curious to know from experienced DBA’s or SWE’s why Oracle dbs will not have a bright future? Please keep it civil and technical.
It doesn't scale. No matter what they tell you, it just doesn't.
I think you should backup your claim with some technical details.
All 500 fortune companies disagree with you. Maybe you should get a Nobel for your new findings.

Oracle is just wow if they can get ownership /license cost down . No database can match them

Rahul Gandhi is poison but the people who believe in him are a lot worse
Because it is a paid expense. Startups can't pay fair that
I thought I had pointed that out already
Yeah, that's about it. If it were free and opensource, nothing would beat its usability and performance.
