Oracle IC4 vs AWS SDE2
I have an offer for IC4 (non-OCI) and negotiating one for SDE2. Which should I take? IC4 TC: $216K SDE2 TC: TBD Location: Austin YOE: 6.5 Current TC: $205K Obviously AWS has more name brand value, but the Oracle position is a Principal level. Which one does it make sense to take assuming I have AWS match or beat the IC4 offer TC? Does it make sense taking position 1-2 levels lower at AWS over Oracle? Title does matter. Oracle is an established company. Taking a med level position over principal is a brain dead move. I made the mistake before. Don't repeat my mistake.
