Isn't this a pay cut? What am I missing? $245k+$350k RSU is $595k/year TC. Do you not make that as L7 at Amazon?

Isn't that M5? 2 years ago when I was given an offer they said 500k in total was around the max (something like 240/1.1M, can't remember)

Its a great M4 offer, 3 years ago the max was 420k, 2 years ago then 500k now 600k . However am sure Amazon can go well beyond that for l7 retention close to 800k

No, the max wasnโ€™t 420k 3 years back. It was around $500-550k and now with stock appreciation whoever survived (quite difficult in OCI) are in the $750k+ range.
