Disgusting Indians in Canada
Hi All, These are my current choices: Oracle M3, not under OCI, team is under the GBU but builds OCI SaaS services to support GBU platforms. 200k Salary / 150k RSU/4 / no signing bonus, team really seems like a great fit Startup recently acquired by FB - risky as once FB acquisition closes there could be layoffs, M1 FB mapping, 195k Salary / 1 mill FB RSU /4 / no signing bonus, team doesnt seem like a great fit Pending interviews with Microsoft which is like molasis, just started the process with Google, waiting for team matching. Microsoft would be an L65 IC role vs managerial roles from above, the microsoft team seems like a great fit though the HMs arent in a big rush Google - just started the process Amazon L6 - rejected, didn't like that I'm more of a technical manager, in that if push comes to shove I'll start helping the team debug code (I guess amazon managers just hold whips instead of actually helping the team?) Current TC: 215k Post college YoE: 8, Including part time SDE while in college: 10 Currently in Finance and want to leave for tech sector, tired of working for banks from a career perspective I am currently a manager with a CSE and MBA degree with 8 reports. The oracle role would be ~20 reports with also managerial reports The G/FB startup roles would both be 5-6 reports The MSFT role is back to an IC with no reports #engineering #software #mgmt #help
You could worry a bit about layoffs joining a Oracle non OCI team as well.
YOE?
If including part time during college, 10 If only including post college, 8
