The hiring manager wants me to come up with a number that I won't refuse and he will try and make that happen. This is for IC4 level. Any suggestions on how I can approach this? What is a reasonable number to ask for? YoE: 10 Thanks!

howz the interview? lc and sys design?
Wasn't too hard. LC should prepare you well enough for it. Design question was pretty straightforward as well.
thnx
Such a trick
What's the trick?
Why would you say a number?
$380k TC would be the max for IC4
Thanks! What sort of split for Base/Stock/Sign-on bonus makes sense?
Tell him to give you the biggest offer he can, and you'll see if it'll make you stop interviewing elsewhere...
350k-400k.
Thanks! How would you split that into base+stock+Sign-on?
Take a look at Levels.fyi for the listings in Seattle. The numbers are quite accurate for the average offers from OCI. Of course, there are always outliers due to specialization, buyout of vesting stocks at previous company, competing offers, and etc.
180-190 base. 15000 - 16000 RSU. The rest is sign on.
That's more than 400K TC based on today's stock price...
