Oracle maternity benefits
I have an interview set with oracle and before considering oracle, i want to know the oracle maternity benefits, how long is the maternity leave and is there a minimum 1y tenure requirement? Really helps me decide, thanks for you responses in advance #oracle #maternity #benefits
Someone recently mentioned to me that , It’s 6/8 weeks short term disability depending on type of delivery, and then 10 weeks on top of that. So in total you should be able to have 16-18 weeks. Also you can take upto 4 weeks paid pre partum before your due date.
That sounds better. Do you know if It is paid though?
Short term disability upto 12 weeks is fully paid based on your insurance. So 10+(6 to 12) weeks is paid. You can distribute your short term disability to few weeks prior to delivery and rest post delivery. I think you can take state provided family leave on top of OCI provided leaves but that is only with some fraction of your income.
You need to be 6 months in the company to avail full benefits If you are 6 months done, the maternity and paternity leave is 10 weeks If you are less than 6 months in the company, the maternity and paternity leave is 6 weeks
Just 10 weeks??!! Thats horrible
