Oracle rescinded the verbal offer
After 2 months of wait since I got verbal offer from Oracle, recruiter called me to confirm that new offers are rejected and they were asked to hire internal candidates from recent acquisitions. Really mad at myself for stopping the job hunt after getting the verbal offer. Now, I have to start again. TC - 250k Exp - 18 yrs #oracle

Can’t give the exact org name. But, as per the recruiter it sounds like a company wide mandate to fill open positions with internal resources (via ppl recently fired or joined via acquisitions ).
My recruiter gave me hope that things might change and said he will press on my requisition Does this mean it is completely false hope?

OP , no offense, but you have 18 YOE. Didn't it cross your mind even once that verbal offers means shit in these times ? I know it sucks , but you could have continued search until written offer.
Recruiter and HM engaged frequently on the offer. Felt like it’s just a matter of few weeks to get the official letter. Lesson learned !
