Oracle/OCI perks - Does the company pay for SWE’s mobile phone bill?
@Oracle folks - Hi, I’m about the start employment with OCI as a SWE and too embarrassed to ask this to the recruiter lol Are there any perks related to mobile phone? - Like providing a mobile phone / Paying for the monthly phone bill, etc.? My current phone plan ends this month and If Oracle gives some perks, I can avoid signing another long term plan. TC: 165k base + 5500 units + 20k signing for 2 yrs YOE: ~10 yrs + masters

No. That's what my manager in Redwood shores mentioned.
You can potential get a second phone that Oracle will be paying for, but that depends on your manager. I know that many don't want to do that.

Depends on your leadership/cost center. Most orgs, answer is ‘no’.
That’s a nice one. Honestly, I just deduct my entire phone bill from my taxes. If IRS has any questions, I’ll send them Oracle’s way since I’m using my phone every waking moment for Oracle work.

Non OCI here. Oracle pays my phone bill. I had to transfer my personal cell phone number to Oracle plan.
I work for Oracle and they do pay for my cell phone. Option is to get a plan thru them (you pay for your own phone) or you port your current plan to them and they pay. I chose the latter. They also recently started reimbursement (up to $50/month) for our home office internet bill.
