Tesla Owners: where do you get your car serviced?

I’m coming up for my first tire rotation soon and I’ve heard Tesla charges something like $100 just to rotate tires. Any other recommendations to get service (pretty much tires and windshield washer fluid with teslas) for a Tesla? Do regular places like Costco or discount tire work on teslas? I thinking lifting the car requires special jack pads to not damage the battery, so I’m guessing you need to bring your own to shops like these?

Most of the national companies like discount tires or American tires should be fine. And rotation should be done every 3 months not 1 year. The sooner you rotate the most life you get.

I’m following the service manual of rotating tires every 6k miles. Glad to know discount tires works on them. I had a feeling they didn’t cause if an employee damages the battery pack that’s a huge risk compared to jacking up regular cars.

As a business that would mean not able to sell tires to a major upcoming segment of cars. Why wouldn’t I get my staff trained if I were them :)

Some places don't know how to lift a Tesla properly. It's a risk

Discount tire has always done well with my Model S

Good to know! I’m leaning towards discount tire since they offer free rotations when you purchase tires with them

Yep, free air/rotation is one reason my family all goes there. Price and customer service are two others.
