Oscar is going public at $32-34 per share. Recently oscar offers on blind are mind blowing. I read a post here where they are offering 70k stock options for sr swe for a strike price of $6.25. If the ipo goes as planned all the oscar employees will be millionaires with their stock options.
Pretty sure it’s $70k worth of stock options, not 70k shares. And likely that $70k worth is going to be calculated using whatever the preferred share price is going for which is much greater than $6.25. If the vesting schedule is the standard 4 year vest with 1 year cliff, then this is garbage.
No way. I got some friends who work there and it’s 70k options. Why would you think people will join a startup with less than $20k worth stock per year? That’s hilarious.
Glad to hear that then. This is the equity range my current company pays and the exact reason we haven’t been able to attract top-level talent 😂
3:1 Reverse split dude
Oh Gotcha. But even though its good amount of stock right.
