I should have made it more precise earlier, this is what I mean: For a role of Processor/SOC Architect, which company is best overall - my meaning of best is Competitive compensation, WLB, healthy work culture. From what I’ve heard from my friends, Apple is great in all aspects but the work culture sucks in Silicon engineering group.
Work culture does not suck. WLB could suck depending on what silicon you are working on.
Also, you have architects for all complex IPs, not just processors. Meta does have digital architects for their AR/VR for example. Their WLB is probably better along with great pay.
Architecture is generic. What does best for architecture even mean ?
