PIPs/Promo/Refreshers @ Uber
Considering an offer at Uber and had a few questions: - How bad is the work/life balance is these days? - How likely/prevalent are PIPs? - Are performance reviews based on stack ranking? What is promotion process like? - What are equity refreshers like? I’ve been given a target on my offer and been told I could get 3x based on performance. Thanks in advance for all your replies. I love being part of this community; it has made it a lot easier to make educated decisions about my career :) Current TC : 165K, Uber TC: 240K @Uber
- wlb is great since last year. - very unlikely to get pip’ed since last year. - no stack ranking. Promo has committee like google. - expect to get your target. Very unlikely to get 3x nowadays.
Does promos by committee mean they're really slow now? Because from I get Uber used to promote really quickly
