PM interview - Jam session @ Uber
I had a zoom interview with an engineering counterpart and that went well. The next step is an onsite jam session. Haven’t received any details yet. Searched the web and blind posts and found very little info about it. It would be great if current Uber PMs and anyone who has interviewed at Uber can explain what to expect and how I can go about preparing for it. Thanks and appreciate your help!
@OP : Could you tell a little bit about the nature of the zoom interview? Was it like product sense/behavioral type questions?
It was mainly behavioral and background questions. There were some technical questions as well as I come from an engineering background.
They’ll give you a situation and ask you to solve the problem. Standard PM scenario exercise. Structured thinking, metrics driven methodical approach will help
Thanks for sharing. Would the problem be related to the team / domain? Perhaps some current problem the team is facing? Or something totally random? Also, who all shall I jam with? Appreciate your help!
