WTF are PMs calling themselves builders on LinkedIn. They don't build shit. Engineers build. PMs are assistants. It's like a CEOs secretary taking credit for the business. What nonsense.
😀😀
Ok then dun tell PM to give you requirements. Go build it builders!
PM spotted! You know you don't "create" the requirements by yourself, right?
We create requirements by talking to customers and work with designers. We don’t say engineers are useless because they are part of the feedback group. Why do engineers think they are the only one who do the work?
Yawn. Another day, another idiot with a massive tool up his rear
I don't get why leadership doesn't cut the job function altogether
Because leadership are also empire building. In fact, most job positions are irrelevant. Look at some hfts and startups, they do more with 10x/100x less headcount than some big orgs.
Yes. Engineers are the actual laborers who lay brick upon brick to build a beautiful temple…or an abhorrent eyesore made to torture souls. PMs are not needed. Raise interest rates to 10% and let engineers make all decisions.
Well, the actual builders are the keyboard keys and the mouse clicks. Everyone else is just a medium to get them pressed.
Of course they are builders. They build empires
PMs are glorified secretaries. Especially in companies with separate product management and design.
