Hello all, Lucky to have some offers for new grad amidst layoffs. Palantir FDE (NYC) 145 salary 55 stock 30 bonus TC: 230k Quora SWE (Remote) 145 salary 35 stock 20 bonus TC: 200k Some thoughts - would leave either in 2 years after joining, not that I don’t like them, just want to try new things/new companies. Heard Palantir FDE wlb is not so good, not a big fan of that, but also travel seems interesting. Think I might learn more at Quora given it’s a definite SWE role, though unsure about that IPO, and I feel like remote work can be pretty sluggish day-in-day-out. Don’t feel concerned about exit opps, both seem pretty well-respected companies in terms of quality of engineers. Thanks for any insights fellas.
Palantir, considering a new grad and switching after 2 yrs will be more easy.
Just curious, why do you think it would be easier? Figured with the FDE role instead of pure SWE it would be more difficult.

Quora for sure. Did you guys make any revenue?
Yep. Was impressed by how the business was doing when I got there for the internship. Doesn’t look as good from the outside.
How was the palantir interview could you send me your application answers
I found them not difficult, just a lot of them. No
Quora because much easier to switch to another swe, fde can have trouble switching
Source?
its common sense, two candidates apply , one is previously a swe one is not. if both interviewers performed the same during the interview, i think most people would take the previous swe, use your head…
