Recently signed a new grad SWE offer with Palantir. Do they have end of year performance bonuses? Also, how does compensation growth work at Palantir given their flat structure and lack of levels? If anyone has an answer to the above, or has any insights about working at Palantir at all, feel free to comment below. I start next month and am very curious to know what its like to work there :) TC: 200k + 30k signon + 15k relo YOE: 0 (new grad) #palantir #swe #tc #compensation #tech
You do bad things for bad people is how a friend who worked there described it to me
End of year bonuses aren’t guaranteed (or a standard) but sometimes happen to folks. Raises come with annual reviews based on business impact
What is the breakdown of the 200K, how much stock did you get?
155k base, 45k / yr stock (180k grant evenly distributed across 4 years)
Palantir stock is very volatile
Having it go up or down 20% in one day is all part of the fun!!!!
If you figure out how compensation growth works please let us know

How’d u get the 45k sign on? Mine was 30k (new grad starting there in September)
Oh I just included the 15k relocation stipend on top of that cause I saw others include relo stuff into first year comp. Not sure if its the norm to include or not. Either way, I ended up using the whole 15k for the moving, 1 month corp housing, storage, parking, brokerage fee, etc
Sign on bonuses are not normally included in TC btw
