I hear you can actually get paid more, if you get paid monthly (just one time a month). Iโm in a position to set up my pay that way. Convince me not to.๐บ๐พ
How would you get paid more? Annual compensation doesn't change based on when you get paid.
OP prob thinks a monthly paycheque is greater than 2 biweekly paycheque but forgets there are 26 biweekly paycheque in a year
Exempt workers are typically paid twice a month in any case.
Just depends on the company. I've had all three. Semi monthly is most common and IMO best, the biweekly one where you pretty much have to budget for two paychecks a month and then have two extra paychecks is a pain, and monthly (something I only hit in an academic job) isn't bad if you are good at budgeting but is kind of a pain when you're young and broke
Yes you definitely get *paid more* just less number of times.

Itโs the opposite. By being paid sooner you can invest that $$ or earn marginal interest for the 15 days you get $$ sooner than waiting for a monthly paycheck. Elementary my dear Karmer.
This is just like people that don't want higher income because they'll pay more tax
Wow. If this isn't a purposeful troll then I'm scared for your employer
