Is PayPal going to have layoffs? I saw some previous post about possible layoffs given the company’s current state. Can any current PayPal employees comment? #paypal #softwareengineer

Not much, we're hiring like crazy and I don't think any of the platform teams are laying anyone off. Pay still isn't too competitive for the market, but they are trying to retain talent.

We r hiring aggressively and attrition is also high. However there are layoffs in some parts of the org based purely on performance.
