The Recruiter told me that the Senior Manager (non-Tech) role in NYC can only go as high as 110K / 3 RSU. That seems really low to me. What do you guys think? #paypal #paypalsalary
Senior manager of what?

Yeah sounds low for sr. manager especially for fintech. Should be 150k+ TC
Is it a level 26?
I believe so. Recruiter didn't tell me the level for this one, but told me director started at 27 and that's the next jump for this role, so I assume 26?
My offer was for an IC role at level 26. I was told 27 would be the next jump where I’d get the opportunity to become a people leader.
I think that’s a lowball offer for RSUs…I think 150k would be more appropriate, although my perspective is for tech roles
Got 230/3 from low COL area but it’s a technical position.
Curious, what was the verdict here?

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
I had a technical offer from DDOG and only got 100k RSU / 4 year. Obviously I didn’t take it because that’s a weak technical offer, but just so you know not all packages are 400-500k. Seems like a good deal from PayPal
Interesting.. Thanks! I was really expecting somewhere north of 150K RSU.. Maybe 200K, especially with 12 YOE. They were OK with the Base Pay @ 190K, could be better, and bonus of 20%. Maybe non-tech roles don't offer as much as tech roles..
