Stayed both. AFAIK T24 != L6? And same money you will be living super differently in SJ vs Virginia.
Visa came very late and they fit lower of L6 band due to insufficient experience. I don't have location preference though. My main concern is cheapest cost of living, good savings and tech stack
Visa, if you're okay with the company. TC and position are better in Visa given the location
Consider where you want to go after PayPal or Visa and the job market you will be in. So, unless you are ok moving around for your next job you might want consider that. You didn’t provide information on the actual job or groups, so not sure what to say about tech stack.
TC isn't necessarily the only consideration. What do you want to do next and which role will best set you up for that? I was in a similar position and I opted to join PayPal because I wanted to use it as a launchpad into higher tier tech companies like FB or Google.
