I've been following the progress of new features and changes inside twitter since Elons assume as new ceo. A lot of new features have been added in the past weeks, so, as a project manager I’m curious. What kind of agile framework are twitter using for these fast iterations release. #operations #ops #twitter #agile
From the increase number of issues happening these days, I think they are following “develop on production and let users test it” approach. This is a step ahead of all traditional approaches.
Nothing quite like the thrill of pushing untested code 😮💨😮💨
Build and break. There is no agile as no project manager left. We as engineers work to get a feature done
Twitter created it's own model and uses just that: the Serengeti Framework. That's when a lion imminently kills and eats you if you are not agile enough to dodge the lion.
Stop trying to replicate the twitter model. Write the software yourself if you want fast iteration. I hate these useless project managers.
You think there’s a process right now? There’s probably a single war room for all code changes where 40 managers and technical fellows sit for 12 hours a day.
You think there are high levels ICs like technical fellows left at Twitter? Very few principals left, company wide, abd no distiguished. The ugly job is mainly done by juniors. L3-L5
Sorry man 😔

I am interested what kind of process does IBM use, classic waterfall?
It depends on the project scope. But, in my currently project we use SAFe. I still don’t know if I like or not but is different
