They didn’t have the invite It’s a series of recurring meeting and this person showed up in the first one. As the organizer i checked their name was on the list (cz key stakeholder) one day before and they were on. Got a feedback from my leader this person wasn’t invited which is why they didn’t show up. I went back to check the list of recipients and their name was magically no longer there Interestingly i had a screenshot of the recipients one day before and the person featured there which i showed my manager What’s up with MS Outlook? I don’t think we can remove ourselves from meetings and disappear from the cadence invitee list without contacting the organizer Either outlook is gaslighting me or this person is
a possibility that’s happened to me before is accidentally deleting the whole series. I intended to delete one instance of a weekly meeting but selected the wrong option and removed the whole series. Prolly nothing wrong w/ Outlook, it’s the most powerful thing of its kind.
idk if deleting makes one disappear or just marked as decline but just saying most likely case is user error somewhere along the line
I didn’t make any changes to the series. Zilch. The person was in the recipient list from day 0 which is why they were present in the meeting last week. Until yesterday their name was in there. And somehow today they disappeared from the list of recipients. Even if the person declines the meeting by not sending a response they feature on the recipient list Idk if this is politics cz he’s not my biggest advocate anyway but I dropped him a note of apology and let him know anyway to avoid conflict. He’s a boomer
Outlook always getting hacked
