How bad was Pfizer 2nd shot
Got it today, so far nothing but I hear it hits you next day.
Yes next day, just recovering
Next day was a horrifying experience for me. High fever and sever body pains. Crap !! But I am glad, I can go out now.
You have to wait two weeks still
Sore arm. 12 hours in, started feeling tired/sluggish with some headache. Next morning, felt even more tired and headache got worse, slightly feverish. Crashed after lunch, ended up taking a power nap for about an hour and was fine after that. Definitely rougher than first shot but probably beats actually having covid.
Couldn't get up the next day. Shivering in the night. Lots of body pain, especially the shoulder. Took my shot on Thursday afternoon, felt normal on Saturday evening. First dose was nothing. Second dose was hell
Slept for 2 days straight with occasional waking up to take paracetamol for the chills.
I was sick for 2 days after 2nd shot. Went to work and couldn't concentrate and had to come back home.
I had a fever (102.6) and chills the next day. The day after that I felt tired all day.
I got vaccinated in the morning. Didn’t feel discomfort the whole day. It was recommended to take a Tylenol(or Paracetamol, anything which relives fever) before sleeping which I DIDNT’T take. Had a troubled sleep and a woeful next half day, after which I did take the medicine. And all was good the next day. Moral: Take a pain reliever/ fever relief medicine before sleeping after the shot.
Who was this recommended by? Just curious because I would also like to mitigate my side effects once I take my 2nd dose, but I’ve heard that taking Tylenol post vaccine isn’t the best idea. I could be wrong though.
Taking Tylenol pre vaccine is a no no. Taking Tylenol post vaccine may somewhat reduce the immune response but the CDC still said it’s cool
It was like hangover next day. No other concern.
For me it felt like a hangover....but it could have been a regular hangover so hard to pin it on the vaccine as I drank a little thinking “arg, I will feel like crap tomorrow anyways”
