What’s the new grad salary for PhD in these areas?

PhD is worth getting started at L4 level at Google instead of L3 and unlocks research scientist ladder, that's about it. Unless you're exceptional or have strong counteroffers then you can command more TC

So, one promotion above the entry level. It's the same thing as google. Not worth doing a PhD for, you could've got there faster through promotion while making tons of money
